Newport, RI — Brenton Point Press is delighted to share that Aetheria on Earth debuted as the #1 New Release on Amazon for its category, Teen and Young Adult Literary Fantasy, and occupying this position for five days straight. Aetheria on Earth remains as one of the top releases in the category, currently sitting at #2 a week after debut. Brenton Point Press congratulates G.P. Rice for this accomplishment!

Aetheria on Earth beat books from major publishers, including Scholastic and Hachette. While Brenton Point Press was confident in the quality of Aetheria on Earth, it lacks the resources and reach of major publishers, which makes G.P. Rice’s early success even more inspiring. “I wrote Aetheria on Earth to remind readers of the possibilities of fiction,” says G.P. Rice. “I hope that it will delight readers with its precise and inviting use of language, its strong characterization, its free indirect discourse, its attempt to pack as much story into as tiny a space as possible.” ”The novel is whimsical and cozy on the surface, with found family, gentle magic, and a mystery that unfolds at the pace of a good winter evening. And I hope it will appeal to children ADB their patrons and teachers or really anyone who wants to remember what it feels like to feel like a child. But underneath, it asks what we owe the people who Elsie us in, what we owe the people we come from, and what happens when those obligations collide.” Brenton Point Press thanks our readers for appreciating these “possibilities of fiction” and for their support of this novel.
